Changing Things Up
FLAUNT Company Update: Adapting, Growing, and Staying True to Our Roots

Hey fellow riders,
Big changes are happening at FLAUNT, and we wanted you to hear it straight from us. After over a decade of serving Central Florida's cycling community, we have closed our retail storefront. But before you panic – we're not going anywhere. We're just getting better at what we do best.
Why We're Making This Move
Running a retail space while supporting riders across the Southeast has been incredible, but honestly? It's been stretched thin. Our roots are in designing and building top-quality e-bikes—custom work, thoughtful design, and durability—and that experience now powers our service and repair focus, keeping every rider – whether you own a FLAUNT or any other bike – rolling smoothly.
Since 2013, we've been part of this community longer than most current US e-bike makers even existed. That's not something we take lightly. We've watched this industry grow from a niche curiosity to a legitimate transportation solution, and we've been here through every stage. Community-involved, we're locally and independently owned and operated—not a franchise.

What's Not Changing (The Important Stuff)
First things first: FLAUNT earned its reputation by building top-quality electric bikes—smart design, durable components, and custom work. Today, our emphasis also consists of service and repair. If you need parts for your current ride, we've got you covered.
More importantly, we're doubling down on service. Whether you ride a FLAUNT, Trek, Specialized, or that vintage road bike your uncle passed down – we service just about everything with wheels and pedals. Always have, always will.
What's New and Exciting
Here's where things get interesting. We're launching a mobile bike repair service that covers all of Central Florida. Think of it as bike service that comes to you – whether that's your home, office, or wherever your bike happens to be stranded.
For those complex repairs that need more than a roadside fix, we've got a mobile pickup service. We'll grab your bike, take it to our new offsite service center for the heavy-duty work, and return it when it's done—reliable, convenient, and handled by our expert team.
Our repair rates are some of the most competitive you’ll find anywhere—seriously tough to beat. Because FLAUNT is locally owned and independent (no franchise fees, shareholders, or corporate overhead), we’re able to keep our prices lower on both services and products. That means you get top-quality work at the best possible value, every time.

The rental game continues too, just differently. Our friends at Good Times NSB are handling all FLAUNT rentals now, complete with mobile delivery. Want to explore the coast on one of our e-bikes? They'll bring it right to your door.

Becoming Your Go-To for Everything Electric
We're positioning ourselves as Central Florida's go-to service company for light electric vehicles. E-bikes, e-scooters, electric skateboards – if it's got a battery and gets you around under your own power, we probably know how to fix it.
This isn't just about expanding services. It's about recognizing where the industry is headed. More people are choosing electric for their daily rides, weekend adventures, and everything in between. We want to be the team that keeps all of it running smoothly.
Recognition Along the Way
It's been a wild ride, and we're grateful people have noticed. Last year, we picked up the People's Choice award for Best Innovative Business. We've also had the honor of being featured on the covers of both Evolve Success and Bicycle Retailer's Electric Bike Report. Not bad for a scrappy Florida outfit, right?
These recognitions mean a lot, but what matters more is hearing from customers whose daily commute got easier, whose weekend adventures got more accessible, or whose relationship with cycling got a second wind thanks to electric assist.

The Real Reason We're Doing This
Look, retail is tough. E-commerce changed the game, and frankly, most bike purchases happen online now anyway. But service? Maintenance? Actually fixing problems when they arise? That's where real relationships get built.
We've always prided ourselves on taking care of our customers long after the sale—just as much as we enjoy helping you find or build the perfect ride.
When a rider comes to us with a mystery noise, needs a battery check, or just wants advice about their setup—that’s our favorite part. Helping people get more out of their rides is what keeps us passionate every day.
By focusing on service and repair, we can do it better. No more splitting attention between retail displays and repair benches.
No more rush orders interrupting complex diagnostics. Just focused, quality work on the things that actually matter.
What This Means for You
If you're a current FLAUNT owner, absolutely nothing changes in terms of support. We're still here, still backing every bike we've built, still stocking parts and handling warranty work.
Locally and independently owned—best possible rates and a personal touch.
If you've been thinking about a FLAUNT but never made it to the store, hit us up directly. We'll talk through options, arrange test rides, and make sure you get exactly what works for your riding style and needs.
For anyone with any bike or e-bike in Central Florida, consider us your new best friends. Weird noise? We'll figure it out. Battery acting up? We've got diagnostic tools. Want to convert your regular bike to electric? Let's talk options.

The Mobile Service Revolution
Our mobile repair service is all about making life simpler for riders—no more lugging your heavy ebike across town or finding a way to transport it to a shop. We can come to your home or place of business to complete repairs, or we can pick up your bike and handle complex work at our new service center. Introductory rate: $30 per house call, whether we do the work on-site or just pick up your bike for offsite service. Pickups and repairs are scheduled in advance—just reach out to arrange a time that fits your schedule.
Looking Forward
The cycling industry keeps evolving, and honestly? That's exciting. E-bikes are getting more sophisticated, more reliable, and more integrated into how people actually move around. We want to be the team that keeps all of that innovation working properly.
We're also seeing more crossover between cycling and other forms of personal electric transportation. The repair skills that keep e-bikes running translate beautifully to e-scooters, electric skateboards, and whatever comes next. Being ready for that future feels smart.
Still the Same Team, Better Service
At our core, we're still the same FLAUNT crew—locally and independently owned—who got into this business because we love bikes and believe in their power to make life better. We're just organizing ourselves to do that more effectively.
The retail closure isn't about scaling back – it's about scaling up the right parts of our business. We have built a reputation for quality e-bikes that last—design, durability, and custom builds. Servicing just about everything with wheels and a chain. Being the team Central Florida riders can count on, whether they've been pedaling for decades or just discovered the joy of electric assist.
Locally and independently owned—not a franchise—no franchise fees, shareholders, or parent company overhead; lower prices; value stays local.
